"Fed in My Heart Language

As a missionary living far from family and friend, I have enjoyed the internet and Christian chat channels as home away from home. It has given me wonderful opportunities to "keep up with" family and has helped me and two of my sisters get and stay close. Being a "far away" mom has also been a trial, but chatting with my kids is very special.

I minister in a foreign language, but as is common with missionaries, I am not often "fed" in my heart language. I cherish the times on chat when I can share with others and be ministered to by brothers and sisters in Christ.

Another facet of the blessing is the number of times when the Lord has used me to give a small word of encouragement to a believer or a word of counsel or direction. I have enjoyed it richly and pray that it might continue.
